See the city see the Zoo! Traffic light won't let me through!

Michelle drove 15 hours straight to Richmond arriving at 3AM where our buddy Otto and his GF Melissa graciously let us crash for a few hours on a pre warned "uncomfortable" futon. But we were exhausted and it was comfy enough for us to catch a few winks under the bed.
THANK YOU OTTO & MELISSA!
I drove them to the bus station at 6:30 AM
made it back in time to shower and GO to avoid traffic. For those who haven't experienced the JOY of driving north to NYC on 95 thru DC, there's only a couple of magic windows of time where you won't get stuck in THE MOST LEGENDARY TRAFFIC JAMS OF ALL TIME. We are threading the needle between the after DC rush hour traffic and the BEFORE rush hour NYC traffic.

We gotta get on the road,on a destiny unbound!

We've thrown the pumpkin at the tree!
And now we are shipping off the last Phish pin packages at the post office. Parcels to Europe take extra long to process so I have time for my 1st blog entry of the Phish New Years run at Madison Square Garden.
It's a balmy 81 degrees here in Miami so we are about to step into the freezer for sure! Michelle gonna drive the 1st leg so
I'm sure ill have some more thoughts for the page in a little bit.

Phish at Madison Square Garden New Years eve 2012

Its about one month before Phish takes the stage at MSG and even though i've seen every single show at MSG since 1995! I'm as excited as ever to see what musical hi-jinx they will come up with this year!
Will there even be any hi jinx???? We will have to wait and see!
And what an amazing year 2012 has been! Phish's 2 leg summer tour culminating at Dicks Sporting Goods in Denver was one of the most legendary experiences of my entire life! Such a great place to see a show!
So many great people coming together to celebrate with Phish and make amazing art and really pull together as a team on the shakedown from city to city and show to show! The music is a huge part of it but there's so much more going on than just the music and if you've traveled on the road with Phish you know the amazing connection we all share and somehow it never gets old!

All the driving and the hassles getting tickets and working so hard to afford it all
is worth it and just a small glimpse into what we do as phans to make it happen.
A lot goes into preparing for tour if you are going to do it successfully. We work long hours and drive and drive and drive some more to get to the shows early enough to set up for shakedown. We love what we do and we cant wait to see you all at NYE!
If you've traded or bought pins from me this year, THANK YOU SO MUCH!
This whole pin thing has really taken off! Who knows where it will lead!

I can already tell you that the creativity of this scene know no bounds and i look forward to your creations!

Bittersweet Motel Phish Pin - Halfway between Erie and Pittsburg!

BITTERSWEET MOTEL PHISH PIN
This Bittersweet Motel Phish Pin is my favorite Phish pin i've designed so far.
The concept of the pin is the Bates motel with the car in the drive way with the BBFCFM plate.
(Why do i try to kill you)
The Bittersweet Motel sign has neon hammers hammering a nail into where Erie is located on the map.
The stairs and windows  are recessed metal and create an amazing 3d visual effect. The sign reads 63.8 miles to Pittsburgh which is exactly 1/2 the distance from Erie.
This Phish pin is available at http://zenster.net/Phish-Pins.html
